Privacy policy

The Privacy Policy describes the rules for processing information about you, including personal data and cookies.

1. General information

This policy applies to the website operating at the URL: podlogijanas.pl

The operator of the Service and the Administrator of personal data is: JANAS sp. z o.o., ul. Dworska 4, 38-516 Czaszyn

The Operator’s contact email address is: podlogijanas@gmail.com

The Operator is the Administrator of your personal data with regard to data voluntarily provided in the Service.

The Service uses personal data for the following purposes:

  • handling inquiries submitted via forms.

The Service performs functions of obtaining information about users and their behavior in the following ways:

  • through data voluntarily entered in forms, which are then introduced into the Operator’s systems;
  • through storing cookies on end-user devices (so-called “cookies”).

2. Selected data protection methods used by the Operator

Places where personal data is entered and login occurs are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). Thanks to this, personal data and login credentials entered on the website are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the target server. The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords. To protect data, the Operator regularly creates backup copies. An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of software components.

3. Hosting

The Service is hosted (technically maintained) on the servers of the provider: aftermarket.pl

4. Your rights and additional information on the use of data

In certain situations, the Administrator has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if this is necessary to perform a contract concluded with you or to fulfill obligations imposed on the Administrator. This applies to the following groups of recipients:

  • a hosting company on the basis of entrusted processing;
  • authorized employees and associates who use the data to achieve the purpose of the website’s operation;
  • companies providing marketing services to the Administrator.

Your personal data is processed by the Administrator no longer than is necessary to perform activities related to it, as specified by separate regulations (e.g. accounting regulations). With regard to marketing data, it will not be processed for longer than 3 years.

You have the right to request from the Administrator: access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability.

You have the right to lodge an objection with regard to the processing referred to in point 3.3(c) against the processing of personal data for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator, including profiling; however, the right to object may not be exercised if there are valid legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the use of the Service. Automated decision-making, including profiling, may be applied to you for the purpose of providing services under the concluded agreement and for the Administrator’s direct marketing purposes.

Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of data protection regulations. This means that we do not transfer it outside the European Union.

5. Information in forms

The Service collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if such data is provided. The Service may store information about connection parameters (timestamp, IP address).

In some cases, the Service may store information facilitating the linking of data in the form with the email address of the user completing the form. In such a case, the user’s email address may appear within the URL of the page containing the form.

Data provided in forms is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of a given form, e.g. to handle a service request or commercial contact, service registration, etc. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly indicate its purpose.

6. Administrator logs

Information about user behavior within the Service may be logged. This data is used for the purpose of administering the Service.

7. Important marketing techniques

The Operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc., headquartered in the USA). The Operator does not provide the service provider with personal data, only anonymized information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.

With regard to information about user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, users may view and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool available at: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/

The Operator uses remarketing techniques that allow advertising messages to be tailored to user behavior on the website, which may give the impression that personal data is used to track users. In practice, however, no personal data is transferred by the Operator to advertising operators. The technological condition for such activities is enabled cookie support.

The Operator uses the Facebook Pixel. This technology causes Facebook (Facebook Inc., headquartered in the USA) to know that a registered user is using the Service. In this case, it is based on data for which Facebook itself is the administrator; the Operator does not provide Facebook with any additional personal data. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.

8. Information about cookies

The Service uses cookies.

Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end-user device and are intended for use of the Service’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time of storage on the end device, and a unique number.

The entity placing cookies on the user’s end device and obtaining access to them is the Service Operator.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:

  • maintaining the user’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter login and password on each subpage of the Service;
  • achieving the purposes described above in the section “Important marketing techniques”.

The Service uses two main types of cookies: “session cookies” and “persistent cookies”. Session cookies are temporary files stored on the user’s end device until logging out, leaving the website, or closing the browser. Persistent cookies are stored on the user’s end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the user.

Web browsing software (web browser) usually allows cookies to be stored on the user’s end device by default. Users may change these settings. The web browser allows cookies to be deleted and may also automatically block cookies. Detailed information on this subject is available in the help or documentation of the web browser.

Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the Service’s websites. Cookies placed on the user’s end device may also be used by entities cooperating with the Service Operator, in particular companies such as Google (Google Inc., USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc., USA), and Twitter (Twitter Inc., USA).

9. Managing cookies – how to give and withdraw consent in practice

If the user does not wish to receive cookies, they may change their browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies necessary for authentication, security, and user preference maintenance may hinder or, in extreme cases, prevent the use of websites.
